In this course, you will develop the most fundamental notions to achieve realism in your paintings.
In the first module - we will work on the control of artistic tools such as: coal, the correct application of rubbers and rulers to assist our primary sketch on the supports. The focus will be on developing the notion of tonal values in black and white.
In the second module, we will move on to color theory: applying monochromatic techniques to simple objects and switching to gradually complex objects, such as apples and other fruits.
In the third module, we will train our perception and representation of diverse landscapes, being rural landscapes, forests, urban centers, etc.
In the fourth module, we will focus on portrait painting. We will study the proportions of the human face and their differences, applying the techniques of indirect painting and direct painting.

How long does it take?
I usually emphasize that the most important thing is real learning, at the artist's studio pace, respecting each student's time. Some manage to do the proposed exercises in class only, but the most important thing is to always do your best, no matter how long it takes.
